I have been practicing at Turning Point Wellness Centre since 1999 as a registered acupuncturist. I graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver with Dr. of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diploma. During the course of my studies I went to an acupuncture hospital in China for 2 months where I learned and developed acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping skills. I observed Tui Na Massage and the prescribing of Chinese herbs. After I got back from China I finished my studies, graduated and started practicing in Steveston.
The reason I chose TCM as a career is because of my interest in natural healing that includes the mind, body and spirit. Most of my practice is focused on acupuncture because I feel that it taps into all these aspects of healing.
I have a strong interest in the treatment of women's health, sport related injuries, chronic/acute pain, stress, anxiety and allergies.
