I graduated as a Shiatsu therapist in 2008 and have practiced Reflexology and Auricular Therapy since 2001. I have been an active practitioner in the wellness program for seniors at Richmond community centres. I currently integrate all of the therapies to present an individual approach to healing at all levels of body, mind and spirit.
I studied at Sourcepoint Shiatsu Centre in Vancouver completing a thesis on fibromyalgia. I have found shiatsu very beneficial for clients with fibromyalgia, as it helps them sleep better, decreases overall pain and improves digestive functioning. Shiatsu is effective in the management of many acute and chronic conditions including headaches, migraines, asthma, muscular tension, back, neck and shoulder pain, insomnia, anxiety and depression.
I speak Japanese and Spanish, and have worked with international students and new immigrants to Canada in earlier careers. I look forward to treating all clients regardless of language backgrounds. I am currently accepting new patients.
A Note on Clothing:
Clients should come for their shiatsu treatment with comfortable, loose clothing. No oils are used in a shiatsu treatment.
